Like 4 months back I had peptic ulcer really really bad like 9/10 kind of bad
I was on no pepper/semi solid/liquid food for two months. I was very anxious cause it was when covid numbers were through the roof and every case reported at any hospital was considered covid.
So like after the First month, I started having this feeling like a ball was stuck in my throat it went away after a week then it came back a week later ever since then (may) up till now 4th September the feeling has never left me.
I went to see an ENT specialist he looked down my throat saw nothing, he did MCS , I was placed on 625mg augmentin but didn’t work.
I took all kinds of antibiotics (prescribed) nothing worked so I stopped going to the doc (consultant) it wasn’t cheap and its a 4hour drive
So I googled my symptom and globus pharyngeus/hystericus popped up (that its related to anxiety)
So I started taking diazepam and the severity had gone from 8-3/10
But my fear is it doesn’t disappear and this feeling is like someone trying to strangulate me
To put it in plain terms its hell
I don’t want to keep taking diazepam cos of the dependence and withdrawal symptoms.
I can’t really focus on reading like before
Quality of life has also reduced
Please I need help
