Many at times we hear the word balance in different scenarios, even unlearned people also use the word too in different cases and though the word seems well understood by almost everyone, not all seem to know how to apply it.
As defined by the Merriam-webster dictionary, balance is a state in which things occur in equal or proper amounts. It also calls it physical equilibrium.
Balance is something that is to be applied throughout life. Nature itself has been positioned to keep balance; ever wondered how people give birth every minute all over the world and yet the world isn’t filled to brim without any more space? Or ever thought how some high rising and sophisticated buildings stand tall for years or even how animals with different body structuring still stand and survive? This is all possible because of balance. The earth and the other planets revolving around the sun at correct intervals without error is also due to balance;this even proves that GOD (The creator) Himself understood balance right before time.
A man’s life doesn’t get good success unless he has the understanding of this thing called balance.Little wonder some individuals today have little or nothing to stand on or write home about despite their previous achievements;all because they never understood balance.
Academically (as is our major consideration in this write up), to ensure optimal success one must learn to balance most importantly his or her religious-social-academic life else a looming disaster would be apparent. It is impossible to focus overly on only one aspect and expect the other to function rightly.
Many students today, have made the mistake of not keeping the balance between academic/religious or academic/social life and it has cost them some great deal to their detriment.
This write up seeks therefore to help instill this balance system in individuals; students most especially who have not a good understanding of balance and to help them get good success.
For a balanced religious-social-academic life,one must:
Create time respectively for each aspect ( religious-social-academic)
Learn not to engage in frivolities by always having laid down goals.
Have a daily virtual timetable (within your mind) for all your activities; in other words making sure not to go out any day directionless.
Not give more time than necessary to any one aspect to the detriment of the other aspects.
Be disciplined.
Learn to seek more knowledge on balance maintenance;this is because as you go higher in life there arises a need for a better structured balance system to suit the sophistication attached with higher levels.
One must always seek balance because a balanced life will certainly keep you staying on the right path of success unshaken and unmoved in every aspect of life.
Balance is the key to everything, what we do,think, say ,eat, feel. They all require awareness and through this awareness we can grow.- KOI FRESCO
